The pure essential oil scent is fresh, gorgeous and has depth. It is an attempt to capture a scent reminiscent of the sea.

A great lather and both Lard and Tallow are extremely conditioning and skin loving.

The water component of the soap is genuine seawater collected in the pristine waters of Hermanus.

MYTHS, STORIES & INSPIRATION

There are very few people who saw the documentary My Octopus Teacher, that were not captivated, enthralled and have subsequently developed a new and massive awareness of the life of this fascinating creature.

I immediately was inspired to make a soap to honour the octopus of whom we knew virtually nothing. Isn’t it incredible how, once we know more about a species, we develop a wish to protect it. The key to all conservation efforts lies therein I believe.

What I have left, is the end of the range and am discounting the price for you. My soap did not visually turn out how I wanted it to. I will at some stage create another.
